used tires for my fx35

Just bought my fx35 and money is a little tight right now. The tires that came with the car have maybe a year left on them. My friends cousin has a 2010 fx35 and he has the stock tires that he wants to sell for $300 CDN. They're the 265 60 18's. He says there's only 20,000kms(12,500 miles) on them. Is that a lot of tread left? Is it the Bridgestone Dueller that come with the 2010 fx35. Need tires bad just want to know if they sound like a good deal, He lives far so i wanted to see what you guys thought before i make the drive. Thanks for any help. Can't wait till i can afford 22's for her. Some of you guys really have some nice rims too

What is thread depth? That is a better indicator.

OEM tires, probably last only 25,000 miles or so, don't know the tread rating off hand.

CAD 300 for just the tires? You'd have to mount balance which adds to the cost if only tires.

Tires are the only part of the car that touches the road, save up and buy new tires.

I think i might must do that, maybe i can get through winter with what i have and save for nice rims and tires for summer and put winter tires on my stock rims for winter. Just want to say this was kind of a dumb post, guess i just needed some direction. Thanks for the advice
