Hey peps, i found a guy whose going to sell me his nismo cat-back exhaust off his 350z for $400. It has sum dents in the flex joints and and the tip wuz bent so it made a dent on the rear part of exhaust. The exhaust has estimated 7k miles on it. Is this a good deal?

That's usually about what they go for when they are in kinda bad shape. If it looks good enough to you, then go for it. Make sure the y-pipe doesn't leak.

How can i find out if it leaks b4 i get it?

Can always get the car lifted and feel/smell around for a leak. Can also mix water and soap in a spray bottle and spray the area and see if you get bubbling when the exhaust is under load.
