unusual shifting

i have a 2009 fx35 with 50,000 miles on it. have been noticing that the shifting has been little unusual. not under warranty and wondering what i can do to fix this. never had the throttle body cleaned......ever, so will try that first. also trying to figure out how much a transmission reflash would cost at the dealer ( is that the only place you could get that done?) also never had that done before.

try resetting the ECU and driving around aggressively for a little. Tranny reset should be under warranty regardless as I think it was a TSB recall

unusual meaning
a: sometimes driving, around 30 mph or so, i has a lag to switch gears.
b. i may press the gas lightly and the rpm jumps or will stay on a high rpm
c. the idle will dip below 650 rpm and look like it will stall but then it will jump back.
d. when i try to open it up on the highway, kind of slow doesn't have its spunk. lol

ECU? i'm not sure what that is. how much would the tranny reset cost me, i don't believe that i am currently under warranty. i'm in the nyc area, does anybody here know of any good shops to go to?

To reset ECU- Disconnect your negative battery cable for 15 minutes then reconnect and go for the above mentioned aggressive drive. If that doesn't change anything it sounds like you may have a dirty throttle body.
