uninstalling factory roof racks?

Hi guys, i have been trying to find a way of uninstalling the factory roof racks, does anyone have any expirience doing this? what about the holes in the roof? Appreciate the help!
 
I read for gen2 fx, derailing would be unbolting the 8 screws and vinyl covering the opening. This member just did that since there aren't CAPS made: https://www.infinitiscene.com/search/1/?q=14616-Guys-give-me-ur-Opinions-about-my-car-..

thanks for the responses guys,
so the easiest way to do it would be dismounting the inside roof panel and unscrewing the bolts? what about the holes if i put a vinyl cap on it wont i get some filtration of water inside, i also own and FJ CRUISER TOYOTA, uninstalled the racks placed the factory caps on it and still got some issues with water filter in the car, ended installing the racks again just to avoid further issues(the roof got flooded car was 2 weeks old lol)
thanks again guys! i am trying to figure out how to upload my car pics, have had it for 3 weeks have done several mods to it:
invidia exhaust, kn dual intake, h&r lowering springs, painted all the fixtures black, piaa hid d2s bulbs, matte black coated heavy mesh grill and have placed an order from MHT wheels for 24"s matte black custom staggered wheels will be getting them in about a weeks time! hope to get some pictures up by then!!

Wow!! sounds like you have been busy with the mods, any pics ?
