04 with awd, If there is snow in a parking lot and i have to turn around i get massive understeer, even going around traffic circles. Im never going fast and hardly press the gas. Anyone else experience this? If the road conditions where icy i would understand but just some fresh snow thats only a few inches deep? This has happened more then once. Im actually contemplating selling it because i don't feel safe in it. The tires have roughly 45% tread. I had a pathfinder that had like 15-20% tread on the tires and never had this even in icy parking lots at low speeds.

Im in canada so i know how to drive in snow:rolleyes:

4WD but i never used it in parking lots, and when i say i was going slow, i mean like rolling speed. I honestly dont believe its the tires. unless there a shitty brand of tire that other people have had bad luck with.

I was driving on ice and noticed pretty much no traction either. Do you happen to know if it was pure snow, or possibly a layer of ice on the bottom?

snow that i was aware of, dont think it was on the ground long enough to melt and freeze again. Glad to hear im not the only one and you would think at low speeds in snow you would have a fair amount of traction. thanks for the input Stu

I ran my 22 Rh06's in 2' of fresh powder and they did great no pronbems at all. You need better tires and maybe lower tire air pressure.
