Ultima Struts & Shocks. Anyone have any experience or feedback?

Hey All,

My car has ~70k miles on it and the suspension is going. I want to tighten up the ride before winter. I was going to get KYB shocks then I saw this deal for Ultima Shocks & Struts approximately $230.

Unfortunately, since I haven't made many posts here on the scene I cannot share the link. But I have been browsing and reading the forum for a long time.

Really good price for a full suspension replacement part. Anyone have any experience with these on our FX's? I will also be lowering ~1 inch with H&R springs.

I don't recall anyone on here have Ultima shocks and struts. Most are with KYB. I had KYB with H&R for about 50K miles. No complaints. Good ride and handles nicely.
 
RockAuto.com has the full KYB for $245. Only way I'd go. We all know KYB quality, no one knows or has used Ultima.

Rear Shock - KYB Part # 349027 - $47.79ea x 2
Front Left Strut - KYB Part # 339056 - $74.79
Front Right Strut - KYB Part # 339055 - $74.79

Total - $245.16 before shipping of course.

Takes some before and after pics and the Ultima as well. Interested to hear your review!
 
Finally got around to the install. Thanks to the MTN for tutorial. Sits lower, feels tighter, and responds better to city road imperfections. Very happy.usamusev.jpg
