Description: 2008 INFINITI EX; VOLUNTARY SERVICE CAMPAIGN
FUEL PUMP
Infiniti has determined that on certain 2008 EX vehicles, when certain fuel blends are used, the fuel pump assembly may begin to emit a “buzzing” noise noticeable at the rear of the cabin. This noise does not affect vehicle performance. However, to prevent any potential increased cabin noise, Infiniti is conducting this Voluntary Service Campaign to inspect, and if needed, replace the fuel pump with a new one. This service will be performed at no charge for parts or labor.

Another Voluntary Service Campaign - Steering Column

Description: 2008 INFINITI EX, 2009 INFINITI FX; VOLUNTARY SERVICE CAMPAIGN STEERING COLUMN COMFORT ADJUSTMENT

On some 2008 Model Year EX vehicles and 2009 Model Year FX vehicles, the steering column comfort adjustment features (tilt and telescopic) may stop working. This issue does not affect one’s ability to steer the vehicle. Rather, it only affects the ability to adjust the steering wheel comfort settings.
To ensure a high level of customer satisfaction among potentially affected Infiniti owners, Infiniti is conducting a Voluntary Service Campaign to replace the tilt and telescope motors. This service will be performed at no charge for parts or labor.

To view the recall document go to Infinitihelp.com or call your local Infiniti dealership. The recall/bulletin is Itb09-014:

Psiclne - If your going to sticky it maybe you want to merge the two threads. Just so it doesn't take up more space than it has to. I hear about these things pretty quick and can update to one thread if something seems important.

Thanks. Can you change the title to something like "TSB's, Recalls, and Voluntary Service Campaigns". I tried to change it but it will only let me edit my post title.

ilovemyfx, there should be a tsb for the ex35 navigation s/w update too.. do you have that tsb somewhere?

It should be up on Infinitihelp.com's site but I'll have a look.

There are a couple of tsb's that advise the dealership on how to update the nav and which a matrix of which types of nav are for which models (ie. HDD, or disc). but they don't provide updates free of charge if that's what you're looking for.

Check ITB08-021b and ITB11-003
