Hey all, I have a 2012 FX35. In early 2019, I had a Malfunction indicator light (MIL) come on. There was no affect on driving. I brought it to the mechanic and the codes pulled were P0101 and P010B which are MAF sensor codes. For some reason, they cleaned the throttle body (I didn't read the report at the time of the service).
The MIL came on again (no drivability issues) and after some research, I found that there's a TSB on this:
Subject: SB 2010-2012 FX35; MIL On With DTC P0101
Summary of ITB17020: IF YOU CONFIRM The MIL is ON with DTC P0101 (MAF SEN/CIRCUIT-B1) stored and there are no drivability issues. Clean the throttle valve and chamber of the electronic throttle control actuator.
So I suspect it's the same issue as what happened in 2019. My questions are:
1. If the codes being pulled are related to the MAF, why is the throttle body the one being serviced?
2. Is this TSB covered under warranty (that is, Infiniti or the dealership should pay for it)?
