I have a 2005 FX35 AWD. My name is Amjad. New to the website. I wanted to welcome myself with a question on the forum, lol. Hoping to get some answers.
I bought the vehicle with the TPM on for low pressure. I filled em up, light went away after a drive but returns after a drive longer than 25-35 minutes?

I have did the relearning method without any luck. It blinks too fast everytime I ground the wire to say the Cigerette rim. Anyway I was trying to figure out if I have a faulty sensor. How would I know which one is bad? I did a code scan for TPM with grounding the TPM connector and I end up with 5 codes.

15, 16, 17, 18 and last one was 46.. I've checked the codes list provided online and the max number code was 44...

I dont understand why my code is 46. It did 4 slow flashes, than 6 fast ones. I absolutely know this for sure because I've done it a lot of times.

On my screen on TPM, it shows 41, **, 40, 39. It changes a lot. It doesnt give accurate readings. Also wanted to know what order the sensors would be on the Screen dashboard. I don't understand why infiniti doesnt make FL, FR, RR, RL..

If your FX is still on its set of original sensors, chances are the batteries are about done. Might be time to replace all four.

I would replace the one faulty one first and see if that helps. How do you know that all sensors are not giving accurate readings? Its normal for it to go up and down by a few psi especially with temperature changes. Also the sensors are not linked to a specific position so you will have to add/remove air to determine which reading is linked to which wheel.

So if you look at the Tire pressure screen...it lists them from top top bottom. The order is: top is FL, then second is FR, third one down is RR and last is RL.

So i guess tirerack checks your TPMs for free?

I have bad readings and ** readings sometime on one, then ** on two tire readings. I guess i just need to find out which sensor is bad. My codes are 15, 16, 17, 18 and 46.
I know 15-18 means it was losing air but number 46 didnt show on code list.. How come??

Its not accurate. Its about 10 psi off in all readings.

So, here is the update or what I know for sure. Light comes on after some good 20-35 minute driving. It gives close readings across the board, than begins to tweak. Like the 2nd number reading would be ** instead of a number reading. It wont go into learn mode because I have a faulty sensor. I just need to find out which one.

Like I said, I did teh error codes and it gave me numbers, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 46. I cannot find what 46 means as it isn't on the error code list.
