tires thread question..

I found a guy selling a set YOKOHAMA PARADA SPEC-X TIREs used..

he told me the tires have 7/32 thread on it, around 80%..
are the tires still good? he wants $300.. is it reasonable?

please give me some ideas

New they are 11/32" http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Spec.jsp?make=Yokohama&model=Parada+Spec-X

So, that makes around 64% tread left.
