Tires Brands and Model Dilemma (Need Help)

Guys I finally at the point were I need to purchase a full set of tires for my 20" rims. I have been researching and have many options so I decided to head here at the forum so that all of you guys and give your honest opinion and experience with some of you tire brands and models.

  • Toyo PROXES S/TII
  • NITTO NT 420S
  • Yokohama PARADA Spec-X
  • FALKEN ZIEX S/TZ

I have stock 20"s on my FX and run Falken ZIEX STZ04. They put a new set on when I bought the FX. They look great, but in the rain they perform poorly. You can break traction easily when wet and had issues turning on wet roads even when driving slower. Next set will be the Yoko's as GEE50FX recommends.

Tirerack.com is selling the Yoko's at $616 for 4, which is cheap IMO.

NO to Nitto NT420S. They're very noisy tires. I have given on Parda Spec X on other members FX. I would buy them if they have my size. My BIL just bought a set of the Prada Spec X to replace his NT420S. His NT420S is only three summers old.

Hancook Ventus ST I run them on my 22's and really like them. I know a few other members here have them as well.

As a wheel/tyre guy i have done my share of SUV's with the Toyo's a the clients love them. Guys that it alwayd comes to taste and the caratistics you are looking for......mileage.....stance.....profile optic......road noise.......etc....

I have Hancook Ventus RH06 and very pleased with the overall performance and ride comfort.

Got the Yokohama Parada Spec-X mounted today. So far I really like them, quieter and softer ride than the Hankook Ventus RH07, I had previously.
