Tire stretching

Whats up guys. I would like to get input about tires stretching. Is it safe. Will the ride feel the same along with steering. For example I take a 10.5 rim and put a 265 55 20 tire on it I know it will work but is there anything to be aware of. Thanks in advance

Whatever it takes to get that mad tyte herrafrush look.

Just make sure you drive like all the other guys with their tires stretched to knew limits and wheels poking out 5 feet from the fender: slow and carefully.

Why don't you want to go 265/50 and 295/45? The circumference is the same (or very close) and you it won't mess with AWD. Plus you get the actual staggered, aggressive look *knock on wood*

265 on a 10.5 isn't that much of a stretch. You'll be fine, it's not enough stretch to worry about blowing a tire off or the sidewall failing. Maybe just be a bit more careful around curbs and potholes. On my old car, I had a 255 on a 10.5 and that wasn't even much of a stretch. But I have to ask, why are you stretching? If your wheels are that aggressive and you've already modified your fenders, then fine, but if you haven't done that yet, there is no point in stretching. If your car isn't slammed and your wheels aren't too aggressive, stretching the tire looks really silly.

I had 265s on 10.5s it is not very streched does not look hellaflush/stanced rim dooes not poke. if you want strech and poke i suggest getting 245s for a 10.5.

in my opinion 265s didnt look right and felt bouncy driving (265/45/21)

Not a big fan of tire stretching myself, give me a more beefy tire any day of the week (width-wise anyway). To each their own though, but as others have stated it will not look all that stretched. I would probably be more concerned with curbing the wheel myself more than anything else.

They aren't that stretched I was just worried if I'm driving around can something happen. I'm running 10.5 in the rear with a drop and fenders cut. I'm not running or anything just want to see what will happen to the tire. I had the stock gtr tires on my car with a drop and a hug gap. It sit more low bit NYC streets suck and don't want anything to happen to the rims that's why I decided to go put 265 all around.
