Hey Guys,

It's almost spring here in Canada so I decided to upgrade my wheels finally.
I've found the good set of 20" RTX Envy rims and now I have a problem to decide which width and tires to go:

Option 1:
20x8.5 et38 - in this case I believe the best tires will be 265x50 Yokohama's Paradas spec-x

Option 2:
20x9.5 et40 - and here is a question, will 265x50 fit properly without ugly look?
I was inspired by defjamz's "Duck Vader" ride so I'm thinking shall I go with 295x45 as he did on his 20x10's? will 295x45 fit properly on a bit smaller 20x9.5 rim?

All suggestions will be much appreciated, supplier is running low on my rims so I need to decide fast.
Thanks and good luck!

Go with the 9.5" rim, wider rim results in less squirm in cornering. 265/50 fits fine on a 9.5", it won't be stretched. 295 will work, but it will look a tiny bit bulgy. Keep in mind that tire brand has as much impact on tire size as the actual size. ie, some companies 295 will be smaller than another company's 285.

Thanks a lot mate, actually this was the option I lean towards to. I had Yokohamas on all my family vehicles so I believe they are just fine in terms of sizing and fitment.
Quick question: What offset (et) stock 20s rims have 40 or 45? Just want to know if these will stick out just a tiny bit further.
Thank you!

I would go with 9.5 rim; it will straight out the sidewall and stiffen the ride a bit but it will also look better than a 8.5 which is just in the middle for a 265 tire.

That's what I did:) 20x9.5 all around. Will post some photos once installed.

I just put 20x10, 295/45/20 and it looks awesome. I want to post a pic but I need more post.

There is a little too much space in the front between the wheel and the fender and I kind of wish I went with 22's. But I am going to put in coilovers soon
