I wasn't sure where to post but anyway, I bought a pair of aftermarket mirrors with the led turn signals. They are already painted and I would like to tint the light covers before I install them to match the other indicator lights on my car. The lights are sealed and cannot be opened, therefore the lens cannot be tinted from the inside. Have any of you spray tinted the outside? And how are they holding up? My rears are spray tinted and are holding up great, the fronts are more of a concern due to bugs, rocks etc. any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Zebra has his tinited with vinyl and it looks really good

Definitely use vinyl. It's a small relatively flat area so vinyl has no downside. It would be easier and cleaner than spraying. Just buy a small sheet and trim to fit.

Yep, I have used the VHT Nite-Shades to tint the LED turn signal on the mirror covers, the high mounted brake lights, red tail lights, and the rear reflectors without any problems. Just spray a couple coats of glossy clear to shine it up.
