Tinted Tails

Tinted and tails, third brake light and reflectors. At first I wanted to get laminex film to cover them but the curves and corners on these lights are way too difficult to work with so they were sprayed with VHT nightshades and cleared. I was also thinking instead of tinting, color matching getting clear and matching paint to do a thin layer to cover the lights but I think black sets it off better. I may end up color matching the third brake light in the future.

What about the rest of the chrome like the emblems, etc?

Did u try plasti dip?

I stripped off the FX35 because it wasn't symmetrical and I may end up doing the emblems up like that in the future. I plan on getting more things painted. Roof rails, side vents, bottom trim and maybe handles. I was also thinking of using vinyl to wrap the chrome trim around the windows. For now, since it's coming up on winter I may just wait till spring.
