Tanabe Medalion Axle-Back

So today at Riverside Infiniti's G/Z day I saw the Medalion exhaust from Tanabe and I fell in love with the way it looks. Since there's an axle back version I'm thinking about unloading the Invidia CBE for this and hopefully my drone will be gone. I talked to the manager over at tanabe and they said I will most likely have to take the car into Tanabe and have them test an extended tip version on my car. It cost about $800 though retail for this exhaust and they custom fit it onto every car. The build quality is just amazing on this exhaust, wondering if I want to pull the trigger on this one...

I heard the exhaust note on my friend's G37 Tanabe Medalion exhaust and the sound could easily give an orgasm. It's a really nice exhaust setup!
 
It was axle back on his G37.


Oh I forgot to add something though. If it were to come down to an alternative exhaust better than the Tanabe Medalion "sound wise", I'd probably go with HKS instead.

I have Tanabe Medallion Axlebacks on my m35. If you want the vroom vroom sound, you won't get any with these axlebacks. They are very quiet.

Medallions are meant to be a quiet exhaust (under 93 dB, as advertised).
 
I had them on my G37 IPL and they sounded amazing. Granted that was a completely different set up. But i am looking for a little more noise on my FX and the Medallions will do just fine. Plus they look awesome!
 
Why aren't you holding out for the Ark Exhaust?! I'v been told the drone problem is going to be drastically reduced.. The ship already left Korea, should be here in a few weeks!
 
Keep us posted I'm debating on which to get ark this one, or a sound system lol:wink (2):
