Swap in powered sub enclosure?

The Bose sub has its own amp - can I buy one of these and wire it in to replace the Bose?
 
did you ever install this? from other like topics i read through, i believe it was recommended to run a new power wire from the battery for any of these installs and use the remote and speaker connections from the bose connection. I gave up looking locally for something to fit with the spare tire in place so i just removed the spare tire and made my own box. Ill make a post later on tonight with pics
 
Haven't done it yet. Running a power line is new for me - gotta get my learn on.
