Suspension Question?

I've noticed that the FX steering wheel reacts to even the slightest bumps/dips on the road. I mean the steering wheel moves quite a bit when i hit a bump or a dip.

In comparison to our Mazda 3 and Honda Accord, the FX steering wheel shakes quite a bit when I hit a bump or a small pot hole. There is no vibration when I drive straight without hitting any pot holes or bumps.

Is there something wrong with my steering wheel or is it because my strut tower bar is not allowing any sort of compensating movement to stabilize the steering wheel?

I don't recall my Acura doing this, but I never had an after market strut tower bar on it.

Can my steering wheel vibration potentially be fixed if I install GT-Spec braces?

That's a completely normal attribute of the FX. The steering wheel tends to not so much vibrate but I'd say move according to road conditions. That's due to the very stiff sporty suspension.

Good to know that it is normal. Sort of had me worried since my lowered acura tl-s never did this.

Thanks

ye i when i had my alignment done , i asked a few questions and that was one of it, the tech said the fx with the sport suspension tend do that :squigglemouth:

No worries mongolian. This has been brought up a number of times by different people who ate not used to such a stiff suspension. Its one thing to have this on a low sports car but people do not expect this from a suv type vehicle. Just look at it a VERY responsive steering.
