There usually used on supercharger BMW's but its so small im pretty sure it could be used on a supercharged FX for sure. Basically it eliminates the need for a intercooler, and less piping because the aftercooler mounts directly behind the actually supercharger. No need to run extra piping be cause its routed right back into the engine, vs being funneled into the intercooler than your motor. It has a small radiator inside that cools the supercharged air, and is also supposed to decrease the chances of detonation. Youtube it if you guys get a chance.

Vortech impellers are investment-cast of proprietary aluminum alloy, heat-treated to T6 hardness and X-rayed for quality control. The S-Trim, noted for having the highest efficiency rating in the industry, provides the perfect balance of mid-range and high-end boost.
Brackets are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and are hard surface anodized for wear and appearance. The oversized pulleys increase belt wrap, preventing slippage at maximum boost levels. The RMS cold-air intake and discharge systems are carefully designed on our SF-600 Flow Bench for maximized flow and minimal pressure drop.
Fuel enrichment is accomplished with custom RMS Software and hi-flow motorsport injectors. Ignition timing is optimized for performance and driveability, while safeguards are taken to protect the motor against detonation. With all of the factors of the RMS tuning program, our system will surpass your expectations and will make your Ultimate Driving Machine live up to its name.

The addition of the RMS Aftercooler adds significant power to our Supercharger kit. For the sophisticated enthusiast, this system is the ultimate. The highly efficient Air-to-Water design is the foundation for this upgrade.
How it works
The addition of the aftercooler lowers discharge temperatures, creating higher air density. The denser intake charge allows the engine to burn more fuel, resulting in increased power. The innovative Air-to-Water aftercooler combines compact packaging with superb cooling performance that cannot be matched by a conventional Air-to-Air intercooler.
The BMW engine management system (Motronic) utilizes an air temperature sensor. As air temperature rises, the Motronic system retards ignition timing resulting in substantial loss of power. By keeping the air cool, the ignition timing will stay within optimal performance control limits.
The highly efficient RMS Air-to-Water aftercooler boasts a 0.3 PSI pressure drop at 10 PSI of boost, a result of the short distance between the supercharger and throttle body.
