subwoofer size ?

IIRC, 2 4" or 5.25" woofers. They're ported and baffled to produce lower freq. tones.

The amp is inside the plastic case with the two little speakers.

Search "subwoofer problem" and look at the size of the amp.....

I saw the $20 diy and I saw another one that they changed out Panasonic chip that basically elimates it cutting out . which is the issue I am having . anyone actually did the $20 DIY ? I am worried about the quality of the sound .

^ I posted that? it's a $5 permanent fix

$20 boost is a boost of the amperage not a fix.
$5 fix will sort out your problem.
