Hello everyone, I have 03 fx35 and I have a question about my Bose subwoofer box in the trunk is going in and out over street holes. I checked all connection everything looks good to me I am not sure if the problem coming from the subwoofers or from the amplifier .Does anyone have the same issue how could I fix it??? Please help. Thanks

Mine was doing the same thing. Turned out the amp was on its way out. Infiniti doesn't sell only the amp (they sell the Bose sub enclosure with the amp inside). Another member here was kind enough to provide a stock amp for a very very reasonable amount.

1) Make sure its screwed down tight in the wheel well.
2) If tight, check all connections.
3) Open it up and check the connections at the amplifier. It is approx 10 phillips screws to open it up. Amp is located inside the subwoofer enclosure. You wont break anything, very easy. Make sure the power wire(orange) is properly tight. Also, make sure the Amp is tightened down properly.(metal box approx 3"X5")

Good Luck

Thanks guys for the quick response , I thought the amp is located in the rear right panel in the trunk ? How many amp do we have in Fx ? I am sorry guys I am new with Fx

The sub woofer amp is a tiny thing that is located within the enclosure. toy4x is right, there are about 10 10mm/flathead screws that can be unscrewed to gain access to the 2 subs and the amp.

This is not really scientific but here is how I tested mine. I had the stereo playing a bass heavy song. I then physically slapped my sub and the bass went down/away, I then hit it again and it came back. What you described with your bass coming and going when hitting bumps in the road is exactly what I was experienceing, so I simulated it with my own test. I opened up my enclosure and checked all connections and everything was great, so I came to the conclusion that the amp was bad.

I snapped a pic of my old amp so you can see how tiny the thing is.
