Stuttering while stopped at a stopped

Hey all long time no post :), my 04 fx 35 recently started to stutter while stopped at lights. This started to happen when I put gas in the car, it feel fine on the highway and only stutters when idling in gear at a stopped light. Any suggestions?

Edit does not do it in park or neutral it does stutter in reverse.

Edit again ok it's now doing it on park and neutral.

Possible your Ignition Coil bank1 needs to be replaced or reviewed. Have it swapped with a different bank, reset the CEL, and see if the code returns.
 
DTC P0301 means that you have a misfire in cylinder # 1.

Looking in the service manual, engine control system section, the symptoms you mentioned match the fault description associated with this code, possible causes are:

1) Improper spark plug
2) Insufficient compression
3) Incorrect fuel pressure
4) The injector circuit is open or shorted
5) Fuel injectors Intake air leak
6) The ignition signal circuit is open or shorted
7) Lack of fuel Signal plate Heated oxygen sensor 1
8) Incorrect PCV hose connection

If you check out pages 285 to 290 from the same section, there is a complete info and a nice diagnostic procedure.

The repair shop has not touched the car yet, if they don't do so today I will head over there and try it out. Would a spark plug cause a flashing service engine soon?
 
A spark plug would have to be pretty messed up to cause the light to flash. It would have to be continually misfiring. More likely is an issue with the ignition coil. Or you may have a small vacuum leak. If it's getting worse, I would lean toward a mechanical issue, maybe a vacuum leak or faulty injector (both caused similar issues on a previous car).

Yes it might if it was faulty and causing a misfire, see below info from the manual:

I would suggest to replace the spark plug on your own before taking it to the mechanic, it is cheep and replacing it is easy, and it might solve the issue without having to throw money on an examination. It is on top of the suspect list.

Sorry for the delay was out of town, the reason they thought it was the ECM was because the car had was running very rough but couldn't? get any codes off ECM, finally it started to give codes ignition coils was the issues had them replaced along with spark plugs.
