Stock subwoofer problem

I just got my 03 fx35 about a month ago so i'm still getting used to the car. I was listening to my music today & suddenly I notice I had some extra bass. So I thought the whole time the sub was working but it wasnt until today. Have you guys had the problem of the sub turning on & off?

I have the same problem. I believe its the bose sub that is causing the problem.

Use the search feature guys - this sub problem has been well covered and we're still seeing brand new threads about the same subject.

Inconsistent performance means the subwoofer's internal amplifier is going out. If you are the DIY type it can easily be swapped out if you find a new amp.

same thing happen to me, check all connection, if that didn't work then its the subwoofer amp. got my fix last week. back to enjoying the music again.
