Stock Headers making noise

hello all, i did use the search bar for some headers question but couldn't find anything related to my problem.

so when i start the fx35 i hear a clicking noise ( my mechanic said it should be a normal thing in the morning when the headers are dry or something but it should go away after 2-3 minutes) so hes telling me the noise is coming from the headers, and hes like we can try doing another oil change( i just got one done 2 weeks ago, Mobil 1 5w30) or he said he can put some treatment in the engine and hope for the best. so i wanna know if its safe to do so? and if they make noise on the regular what effect does it have on the engine/ performance?
Thank You!!!

Before you go and change the oil, I would see if it's at the right level. It may not be related, but I don't know why you would change such new oil, without doing other free checks first.

oh putting too much oil can cause noise? i will check the oil level today. does it have anything to do with the filter? because i used Fram which was like 6$ :S. from now on i m only gonna use OEM filters, but u think changing filter might help a bit?
and should i go ahead with the engine treatment?

I don't see how an oil change or engine treatment will eliminate noise coming from your exhaust manifold (headers). What you are describing sounds like an exhaust leak and the reason it is going away after 2 - 3 minutes is the manifold is expanding and filling the gap. The only way to fix something like this is to replace the gasket or just ignore it until it gets worse.

maybe try and tighten up the header a bit more when it's cold. This can be a pain though since they are hard to get to.

If you need to replace gaskets, this would be a great excuse to install some new headers!

ok so its not the headers, its the lifters that are making noise. i used fram oil filter this time with mobil 1 synthetic. u guys this that caused this issue? my mechanic drove my car he said it drives fine and suggested i should wait till my next oil change, than he ll use some german synthetic oil + some kinda treatment + OEM filter and see if that will fix the noise. any thoughts? thank you
