Has anyone had experience with using both the OEM Akebono brake pads in comparison to the aftermarket Akebono Proact brake pads?
Did a quick search and only found one thread where someone asked the same question but only one person replied stating they should be the same but that was based on assumptions. Oh and it was from 2011 so I figured by now there's more knowledge in the group..
Reason I ask is I've put on new OEM pads last year october and after rotating the wheels recently I noticed the pads were nearing the end of their life...which I've never seen a stock pad go so quick..
I also noticed the OEM pads create a lot of dust now compared to when I did the BBK upgrade on my 1st gen, those pads didn't create so much dust. So is it possible Infiniti changed their formulation?
