Stillen STB benefits?

Think about a table with 4 independent legs. Although the legs are connected at the top, it will still move a lot since they're not connected at the bottom. An STB is beneficial in a suspension, especially on hard cornering but without a lower brace, the suspension will still have play in it. The lower brace will mostly fix that. Doesn't matter that much if it's a really thick brace or not if you only have suspension bracing on the top.

Understand what you mean, but I wish I new someone close to me with the setup so I could feel it as well.

What I believe is that the STB alone is beneficial only if it's really pushed hard.. I think the strut mounting place in our FX is already capable of holding the regular cornering forces but it'll flex at the extremes.. That's probably why most people tracking the FX feels its benefits.. Couple it with a lower brace though and it should be most useful..

Yes, its true that most won't readily feel the benefits of an STB with normal driving, but will when its pushed with some hard cornering. However, you will definitely notice the difference once you get used to the STB and then it is REMOVED.

Is that the same with the other braces as well?

my stillen may be up for sale eventually because i was thinking about getting the gtspec

I've never handled any other STB but the stillen that I purchased off the scene. Im not too versed on this stuff, but I would have thought it would have been a little heavier, possibly sturdier. I know those attributes doesn't necessarily make it better, but those were my first thoughts.

Other STBs will be as light as Stillen and there's not necessarily a big difference. The handling difference with a beefier STB will only come up at the extreme ends and it will be minimal.. Personally, if you really want a strong STB, get GTSpec and get it Carbon Fiber wrapped. That's what I'm planning to do.. You'll take out majority of the flex on the STB that way and it'll still be as light as it was before..

If I may, what's that going to cost? What are your expectations?

I'm planning on doing it myself. Got a good CF roll a while ago on ebay for like $50.. Stillen STB is a bit hard to wrap in CF without using vacuum since it's not flat like GTSpec.. I'll see what I can do when I get it.. If good, will post up a how-to here..
