I personally don't like those, I feel the FX doesn't look good and doesnt need step bars/running boards. It's not such a high vehicle and plus it's not hard to get into.

+1 the fx isn't high enough to need step bars, eventually we will convince you that the fx needs to be lowered :p

Rocker tubes are most often seen on 4WD's, rides that need protection when roling over high center ruts or rocks or simply something to stand on as 4WD's normally sit higher. The opinions you are receiving are based on the overwhelming viewpoint (at least on iS) is that the FX is weighted more heavily on sport - lower, lighter, faster. I'm happy mine will tackle light snow but I've never had any interest in taking it off road. But...as stated, its your choice, you may catch some good natured flak but individuality is a good thing. MHO? Leave em' off.....

I don't think they'll look good on the FX styling. But, if you lift it, the nerf bars will then look better.
