Hey All,

Driving down a straight road, the spokes on the steering wheel are no longer centered after getting an alignment done. But before i take it back to the shop, i was wondering what is the specific cause of this problem (toe?) and how it can be fixed/what needs to be adjusted. Just for clarification the car doesnt drift left/right when i let go of the steering wheel, rather just the steering wheel isn't straight. Alignment shop has a long long wait... so want to make sure I go there knowing what needs to be done.

Thanks in advance :)

the person who aligned your car didnt secure your steering wheel correctly, usually its toe out that causes your steerig wheel out of center, not camber

Did they use that stand that holds the steering wheel when performing the alignment? My alignment shop did when they were doing it. This keeps the steering wheel centered during adjustment.

By the way what shop did you go to?

Print this out and give it to the tech at the alignment shop...

Bonus points if they are Asian.
