Steering rack question

Sup folks , I have read the other post about the steering wheel shake at 60-65mph, I was under my car today and the big bolt on the steering rack is completely loose , question is , does it need to be all loose?? Cause I've tryed to tight and the st wheel became to heavy , than I turn the bolt back to its last position , but the shake remains there ....
what should I do?? Thx

That is the steering rack tension adjuster bolt it's not supposed to be tight.
Just tighten it snug then back the bolt out a quarter to half turn.
The steering wheel should move to center while driving when you let go of the steering wheel.

Ok buddy , I'll defenetly will do it tomorrow, tight it snug then turn it back . Cause it vibrates so bad at 60mhp

If vibration persists try rotating the front wheels with the rears to eliminate a possible wheel issue.

Check your wheel bearings and outer tie rods. I had 1 bad outer tie rod cause a shimmy.

Try balancing your Tires that fixed my shaking completely and I haven't even tried the bolt yet, since that appeared to fix the problem. Also rotated my Tires
