Can i start a brake thread and give a good review at the same time? Let's give it a shot.
I did some googling on QX50 brakes specifically rotors and it seemed like one company kept popping up and they were fairly local to me. It was SP Performance. The price seemed reasonable enough and they offered cool designs, but I was more interested in the coatings they offered because in the Northeast, bare metal takes a beating and i didn't want my rotors rotting from the inside out on a fairly new vehicle.
I picked up just some slotted rotors with their black zinc and knock on wood, so far they are awesome. I've dealt with Stoptech and DBA in the past and their "E-coat" has nothing on true zinc plating.
Give them a look if you are in the market for some rotors!
