I'll keep my experience to myself...but if anyone wants to know how Infiniti of South Bay cheated me, feel free to contact me. Granted, this was on a used 16K Mile 07 G35s that I bought, and not a new car and Chad was not the salesman, but the dealership, the salesman, and the sales manager I dealt with...well lets just say they are not on my Christmas card list

Who was the sales manager? They have gone through a few from what I understand. Also the GM is new, so I apologize for the bad experience but I promise its not like that anymore.

Also, used cars are a little more of a risk due to the fact that the used car manager decides how much money to put into them. I suggest using the 60 day warranty on used cars to its fullest if there is anything wrong with any car.

Hope there were changes. The manager I dealt with didn't give a crap about customer service.
The car I bought had to have been repainted in the rear. I didn't see damage. Either the service department were morons for not noticing the tape over the rear license plate lights (don't they check to make sure lights work) and all the over spray below and the peeling clear coat or it was painted after the service department saw it. Both I which the sales man (initials AA) and the sales manager denied. The seats were rock hard which since this was my first G I didn't know that it was abnormal. The service advisor at my dealership noticed the gaps in the material an that the seats were hard when he barely sat in it to get the mileage. This was in 2010 and the car was an 07 with 16k miles on it. Obviously something was wrong the dealership knew it which is why they did not CPO the car. The sales manager would not take the car back or offer any kind of discount now that the car was devalued from the amount I paid for it. Best he did after much arguing and threatening to sue was to give a basic extended warranty with a high deductible. I have since sold the car after all the items were fixed (did I mention the VSC and traction indicators went on during my ride home). The supposedly transferable warranty was not honored by Infiniti to the new owner which I then had to deduct another $1k from my sale price.
Worst experience I've ever had with a luxury car dealer or any dealer for that fact.

Yeah man, those people are long gone, I started 2 months ago and there's people I didn't even meet that were there just before I started. Unfortunately its a high turnover job, most salesmen are not working there to make it a career and become the next GM, I am. They don't care to learn the cars in detail or anything about the competitors, its quite sad actually. I come from a customer service background and treat people right no matter how aggressive they are on pricing or if there's no gross in the vehicle. I will make it a point to change that too, once I do get into a position to make those kinds of decisions.

Again, sorry for your bad experience but don't let that put a damper on the dealer. Everyone has their mishaps when buying a car, I had mine at Volkswagen on a brand new 05' GTi, turned out to be a lemon, had to get an attorney and everything.

On a positive note, FX37's are in! If anyone is looking to get into one, this is a great time to do so! It's been a slow month and we are offering some really attractive deals on all cars!

just word of advice, no need to really push sales here on the forum. Everyone is very well educated, and coming out to meets and just providing useful information will take you far. no need for the crumby sales gimmicks here

Da mayor know what he's talking about. Glad to have dealers representing iS on both coasts! :good:

It's not so much pushing sales, im just trying to let people know im here. Im the last person you need to worry about when it comes to a deal with lies, gimmicks and manipulation. If I can reward members for coming to me im going to! It will become apparent that once some members do buy from me, they will not want to go anywhere else!

Quick update! Deals are AMAZING this month, I got a forum member from another board into a QX56 for well below invoice, now is a great time to buy. If anyone is interested let me know! I can arrange shipping for our cost.
