Sometimes I hate car maintanance

Spent about 4 hours washing, claying, and waxing the car. Didn't even touch the interior. Did it all by hand.

Paint looks great and shines, but man, i'm tired. Tommorow I will use glass cleaner inside and out, maybe shampoo the carpet mats, and will probably pick up some back to black and work on the trim.

It just never ends.

if you will going to do the carpet use one of those wet vacuum from home depot. my girl got one for the home's carpet. and i decided to try it on the FX.. it worked great.... took all the dark spot right out.

it has to be done, and when your done, its feels good to look at your car and drive it around so everyone can see your great work

I will be using a Bissel Little Green Proheat carpet cleaner. It works great on my dog's pet stains in the house. Should work great in the car.

Yea, the paint looks great (had a bunch of brake dust stuck to the paint and started to look like it was rusting, but the claybar took care of it) and is almost slick to the touch, but it just takes to much time.

My car is always kept pretty much spotless, so most people won't notice the difference even if I do.

I got a bunch of rock chips that I need to take care of. Almost want to get the front and rear bumper repainted, but i'm not that anal about it.

Personally, I like doing that stuff. It's ME time, you know? But there are times I'm just not in the mood or don't have enough time to do it right. Then I just pay somebody. It's not like it's all the time. It's a treat for me and my FX!
