So why no headers when going Turbo....??

You know how that goes.....in the beginning you tell yourself 280Hp will be fine....and with some N/A tuning like Intake....exhaust...plenum....headers you'll reach around 300Hp.

But i should have known better that eventually i would go F/I :wub:

So now i have some nice DC Ceramic Headers wich i cannot use anymore i'm advised.
I know heat is an issue.......but i'm a bit stubborn and still wondering if it is an option.

I've seen companies offering headers for turbo set-up. NOw last time a friend said that headers like nismo ( being of a better quality ) probably would make it........i know my DC's aren't the best on the market but not the worst either.....

Please advise....anyone......:tup:
 
My plan was to try it - but I found part of a custom g35 turbo setup that I used instead - it had already been proven on the dyno.

Jeeees what to do. I've read that DC are tended to crack fast. Haven't got any problems yet.
Also they say Stainless was better heat resistend......i have teh ceramics and that ceramic would be better with heat. Wanted to wrap them in Titanium Band as well.....but trying to get as much intell in advance as removing or mounting headers isn't and easy job.......and i'm lazy sometimes :wink (2):
