Snow Removal

Since I have black paint I use a very soft microfiber to brush it off the car when the snow if soft. If its frozen I leave it because it risks scratching the paint. I notice swiping snow off on black paint will leave fine swirl/swipe marks.

Also I never ever use a scaper on the glass either because if your rough enough you can leave fine scratches on the glass. My uncle already did it to his Lexus. Very careless mistake and I won't do it to any of my cars either.

Thanks for the tips guys. Those brushes I see in the auto parts stores look pretty rough. I'll check online and see where I can get a microfiber brush.

I start her up let the defrosters do there job then i use a broom to get the loose snow off.

I throw hot water! And some lemon! Lol
i too let the car warm up then towel to just slighty wipe of snow

I use one of those brushie thingies to take the snow off ....... actually used it this morning and I honestly do not see the scratches that some of you guys are talking about ??? Of course if I did I wouldn't use it ................. I just went out to take a look at my paint in full sun and nope no scratches yaay :smile (2):

While I was in NY, I used to use a pivoting soft brush with a telescopic handle. I picked it up from Costo. I never used the snow scraper.
