Hey guys,

I've seen a lot of posts on different ways to accomplish this "smoked out/grey" look. Which way is best? Bring to a body shop? DIY? Is there a vinly film you can buy??

I have an '05 45 with stock clear taillights but on the bumper there are the ugly bright red refectors... How can I make those reflectors match the clear taillights better?

I have tried different ways over the years with all my cars and the cleanest look i ever got was Body shop painting. They know how to do it and with the clear coat they put on it loos amazing.

+1 ^^^

Having a body shop tint them is going to be the best quality. Type in, "tint" in the Title search line and threads talking about this should pop up.

Stu. That's perfect! Do you know where I can buy these? Which brands are best quality?

A local tint shop did a great job on mine. I'm not sure how tinted they are, but I do know he put two layers of film down. I think he charged me $15. Its not too dark and still a little bit red, which is what I was going for. This picture makes them look a little darker than they really are.
