So, while performing an inspection on my engine mounts due to the sound coming from the driver side, I had the infamous since I am doing this moment. In doing so, I began just inspecting the engine bay, doing a little wiping down (never cleaned to bay - I have been a bad boy). Well, why I was in there, I notice this..

any idea what this could be? It was not being held on by anything so I don't know what it's purpose or function.

looking around back there, I decided to clean out the whole thing and noticed this in the driver side tail..

Is it just stuck there or attached to the body?

the little copper/brass thing is just kinda stuck there if that is what you were refferring to.

Whatever you do, don't touch that box. In fact, just cover it up and never discuss it at all.
Or, pour concrete completely over top of it.

Was that stamped metal piece just resting down at the bottom of your inner wheel well? It looks like a clip to hold a line in place.

ok, now you guys are worrying me about the box lol..

the clip was inside the engine bay loosly hanging on that tube in the second pic underneath the intake tube

got XM /sat radio?

its some sort of control module. that happens to be a black box, LOL as long as its not ticking its all good. obviously looks OEM to me so i let it go. pull up a FSM if you want to really know.
 
SAT Radio Module is behind rear passenger seats. Alarm module sounds possible. Don't know where there is located so I will research that. Thanks.
 
:laugh: I have been playing in/around it to get some custom tail lights, so I know the second I saw the pic.

IC. on the g35 sedans. I have mines mounted in the trunk. Well i installed the OEM IPOD thing in place of it.

Least you figured it out.
