Shifting Noise

Has anyone ever had an issue with a small metallic noise when going from neutral to reverse or between gears in low speeds? I have a first generation 03' Sport FX35 and it makes a sound sort of like dropping a coin on the ground (pardon my description). I can't really make out if it's coming from the front or back as I don't typically hang out the side of my car when driving.

Any insight is greatly appreciated.

I have the same noise. But I don't think it's a big issue. I only have the noise from neutral to reverse. I have been driving with this noise for few years. Nth is wrong with my tranny. I think it's probably just the lock / release mechanism for the shifter.
