Anyone know if the shift boot surround can be popped up? The corner of my shift boot is peeking out and I want to tuck it back in. But, I am afraid my gorilla hands will break clips and cause havoc. I have seen a few write ups on the 1st gen FX, but mine is a 2010. Little details like this annoy me, but I feel a need to correct it.

If I'm not mistaken the top is held by 2 or 3 screws underneath, so you'd have to remove the entire piece flip it, unscrew, and then you can tuck the boot back.
 
Yeah, panel should have to come up. Not too hard. But can you just use something small and push that corner back in?
