2011 FX35 AWD
Hello everyone!

First and foremost I'm so glad to come across this forum, I'm new to the FX world but not to the import scene. I have tons of questions and hope to utilize everyone's knowledge on this forum. That being said, I just purchased an 04 AWD FX35 with 64k miles, must say I got lucky and ended up with all three packages. The first thing on my list is to do a complete tuneup.

haha turbo would be nice, but been there done that with my 350z. Trying to keep this car for the long haul.

Can someone please explain to me why the front of the FX35 sits a tad higher than the back? I saw a thread on here about the level height, also my FX is AWD sport and snow package. Wouldn't it have somewhat of a more "lower suspension" look to if?

any info would be greatly appreciated:nerd (2):

I think it has to do with the style the designers wanted. 'Bionic Cheetah' campaign. as if it were a big cat waiting to pounce on something. Kinda goofy, but it's the best explanation you're gonna get. Also the 45 uses the same underpinnings, so the weight of the V8 sags it down more level.

So I've only owned this car for less than a week and already have found a problem. It seems as my gas gauge is all over the place. The car was on empty with the light on, so I filled up yesterday and the car only took 14 gallon of gas, I was under the impression that the car has a 23 gallon tank, once starting the car the needle only went up halfway??? and this morning the gas gauge indicated that I had a full tank of gas??? I'm baffled :1confused::1confused::1confused:
This is not want I expected from a "luxury SUV"....
ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

That would be a 'used' luxury SUV.
Likely a minor problem.
How's your running gear? That would be my main concern.

Just because it's a luxury vehicle doesn't mean it can't have a problem. I could go and buy a $100K A8 and it's going to give me some sort of problem down the road. Nothing lasts forever. Eventually some part on a car ages and is going to need replacing. Your car is 6 years old with 64K+ of miles, eventually something is going to give you a problem.
