first i had k&n replacement filter like the stock one and all was normal .. i bought another K&N high flow air intake and aluminium pipe .. i took it to a shop they connected the air filter and the pipe (they custom did it to fit) and it was connected .. i started the car and stepped on the gas it wont pass the 2500 rpm (on park) .. so i returned everything as it was and it was normal again.. do u have any idea what went wrong ? we checked everything and all was connected (sensor) .. might it be the pipe isnt suitable ?
oh and 1 last thing the service engine appeared since i removed 1 resonatore .. i took it to nissan and they turned it off they said its normal.. after 1 week it went on again then a friend told me its the oxygen sensors causing this since he told me its a common thing happening to the fx is it true ? thank you.

What you should do is try to download the error codes from your ECU.

There can be a number of things that can be wrong but nothing major that will cost you an arm and a leg to fix.

Keep in mind when you changed your CAI you should of done an ECU reset so your Baby can acclimate to the new CAI.

As for the O2 sensors you should get them replaced.

With the intake, it was probably that the dimensions and the MAF sensor location that was not suitable for the FX. You should have pulled any of the codes to and got them read to see exactly what they were. The 02 sensors are easy enough to replace if they have not melted onto the pipes.

thnx alot .. ill replace o2 sensors .. will they harm my fx if i ddnt replace them directly?cuz i dnt have time till next week so are they dangerous ? i heard ill consume mor gas but nothing big...
