Rough Idle/Shutting Off After Engine Turns over....

This morning, my car (09 FX35 AWD - fully loaded, 50,xxx on the ODO) fired right up in the garage when I was leaving for work. I had to grab a couple things a few hours later, I start the car up and again, fired right up - no problems. I turn the car off while I was at the UPS store for 20'ish minutes, when I went to start it up to head back to work - the car cranked, turned over, and immediately died with the "Service Engine Soon" light illuminated. Tried again, same thing... Cranked, turned over, and shut off with the service engine soon light lit up. I try a third time, this time giving it some gas. The car started up with a bizarre grunt. Once I got it running, it seemed to drive fine. I called the dealership who told me to swing by with the car. Just wondering if anybody has had this (or similar...) issue arise.

Thread moved from Warranty.

It likely needs a throttle body cleaning. A few members here have had a similar issue and achieved resolution with a cleaning.

Could be the throttle body is dirty cause mine would do something like that before cleaning it. But I never got no ses light so it could be something else....

Can you make a video and post it up on here? That way we can see whats happening

They just delivered the car to me - they insist they fixed the issue by re-programming the ECM, I requested they re-flash the TCM to the TSB ref # ITB12-064. At first, they assured me it was not available for my car. I printed a copy of the TSB and brought it into the service department. The service advisor showed it to the tech and told me they could, in fact, re-flash it the way I requested. The printout they gave me states the following.

Part number before reprog/programming: 23710-1CA4A

Part number after reprog/programming : 23710-1CA4E

the second sheet of paper is a screenshot of Consult III which really says nothing other than:

ECU PART NUMBER 31039-X970E

the service advisor assured me what I wanted done was done.

I don't know wether they're being truthful with me because I don't see the ITB12-064 on any of the paperwork they gave me.

Any thoughts?
