Rims

Hey guys I'm thinking about getting some after market rims but I'm debating between 20" or 22". I live in boston so there's potholes every where so I don't want something that light have a chance of getting damaged on a pothole. Any ideas on what's the best rim size for living up here? thanks

Theres enough room in the wheel well for some decently thick tires w/ 22's. Many have gone this route, and 22's will look best.

22"x10 with 285/22/40. Profile of 40 is enough to protect the rims. 285 will give it a little bit of side wall for additional protection against curbing. If you want flush setup without spacer, offset +30mm will be nice. I have been running the same setup with no rubbing issues. There are plenty of pot holes in Vancouver, since there are a lot of constructions. +30mm offset gives perfect flush look.

22" of course, tires will have a little more sidewall, you should lower your car if you choose 22"s, it'll look sick.

I'm still running on 18 stockers. Planning on upgrading to 20" stockers for a change..

But pretty much all members here that went aftermarke did 22 with a nice meaty tires..

im thinking of trying out the enkei gtc01's in 20inch form...they only weigh 22.3 lbs each!!! since i get a good deal on enkei i might as well try them out.
