Reset Fuel Economy Memory?

I want to reset my fuel economy memory. I feel like the person who had it before me had a heavy foot and is showing 13.5. I want to reset it to see if that is what I am getting. Is there a way to do this?

Do you have tech package? there is a reset button right next to it the fuel economy screen.

I believe you just press the fuel econ button and press/hold again in order to reset

You press the fuel econ button to see the current MPG and DTE readings. Then, while on that screen, hold the trip reset button to reset the MPG figure.

Hanjo Is correct. I just pressed it once to display and then press and held again and it reset. The owner prior to me definitely had a heavy foot. So far im getting about 16.6 as opposed to the 13.4 It was at. Thanks everyone.

Fyi, you can reset it with the trip reset button as well.

Lol, give it a few days more. I have a semi-lead foot, mainly on expressways. I've been averaging around 15.7 the last three weeks.
