Reset Airbag Light

*** Warning. If the airbag light comes on, there must be a reason. I would not recommend this reset method. I would take the car in and have the it check out!

If you know the reason for the air bag light to come on, you can try this procedure to reset it. I turn on the car while the seat belt airbag connector at the bottom of the B-pillar was disconnected; therefore, I kno​w what caused the airbag light to lit. I follow the following steps and got the airbag light to turn off:

1) Turn IGNITION on (but don't start car)
2) After the AIR BAG warning lamp lights for 7 seconds, turn IGNITION off within 1 second.
3) Wait 4 seconds
4) Turn IGNITION on (but don't start car)
5) After the AIR BAG warning lamp lights for 7 seconds, turn IGNITION off within 1 second.
6) Wait 4 seconds
7) Turn IGNITION on (but don't start car)
After the AIR BAG warning lamp lights for 7 seconds, turn IGNITION off within 1 second.
9) Wait 4 seconds
10) Turn IGNITION on (but don't start car)
11) Wait 3 seconds
12) Turn IGNITION off
13) Wait 2 seconds
14) START Car (the light may be blinking slower than before)
15) Wait 3 seconds
16) Turn IGNITION off
17) Wait 3 seconds
18) START Car

Don't know if I can post to this thread but here it goes.
I have a 2003 FX45 and the airbag warning light started blinking after I changed out the in cabin filter. Turns out I unplugged the airbag cable taking out the glove box.
Here is my method to reset the light. It's a slight variation of the fix posted above (which didn't work for me).

1) Turn the ignition to ON without starting the engine.
2) Wait 6 seconds for the seat belt light to turn off (just before it starts blinking again). Turn ignition to OFF.
3) Repeat this 4 times
4) At the end of the forth ON/OFF wait a second and START the engine. Wait till the light start blinking. It should blink slower now. Once it starts blinking turn car OFF.
5) Wait a second and START the engine again. The light should remain off.
