Removing Shifting Knob

Pull the boot down... or if no boot the little plastic cover under the shift knob.
Remove the clip holding the shift knob on.
Pull the shift knob off.
 
Put the shifter to neutral, press the parking brake, turn off the FX. Then, pull down on the bottom plastic piece of the shifter, then pull the pin out and lift the shift knob out. That's it.
