Remote lock/unlock not working?

Hey guys so i wanted to ask on here due to it costing 150 for infiniti to determine the problem. So it is weird my remote lock/unlock just stopped working for some reason. In the electronic settings on my fx it has remote lock/unlock enabled and the battery on my remote should be ok because the red light works when you press the button. it is also weird because when i hit the button on my handle which usually locks and unlocks the car as long as the remote is near doesn't work as well? And to top it all off the keyless start still works so it does register that the remote is in the vehicle....

Please if anyone has any ideas or if it has happened to you let me know what to try i will attempt anything!

I'm having similar problems. My remote will not work at all. I had to use the key in the fob the other day. I haven't drove my car since, and today I used the spare fob and nothing happened with that one either. I don't know if it's the remotes or the receiver for the remote. Either way I'm sure it isn't going to be a cheap fix. Tried searching, but it doesn't seem like anyone else has had this problem.

I had some trouble with mine once on a really hot day, though in my case it seemed like the problem was with the lock mechanism rather than the key fob. It seemed like it was sticky or something. It would operate really slowly and then just stopped moving entirely. I kept locking and unlocking the doors with the button on the handle over and over and eventually it went away. It was really weird. I actually forgot about it until I saw this thread title...

IS member jumbosrule hooked a brotha up with this thread (LINK), but like I said my problem "fixed itself" so I never pursued it any further.
