Recent 08 Infiniti FX35 Owner

Hello All,

First time Infiniti owner, got myself an 08 FX35 with 100,000 miles on it! Got it for $6k, clean title, no accidents and a 2 owner vehicle. Is it a good deal? Mainly wanted to discuss 2 main issues with it so far. The dash is bubbled up (yuck) and I have been experiencing a weird squealing noise upon acceleration. It ONLY happens at about 3-4k rpms on acceleration, not at a standstill and is intermittent. it definitely sounds similar to a belt squeal however it won't happen at a standstill, it starts at about 3k and goes away after 4k. None of the main pulleys and belts seem to be jammed or slipping. It doesn't seem to coincide with the a/c being on or off or with turning the steering wheel. It's definitely an under the hood noise coming from the front right side (non-driver side) and not a steering/susp noise. Any ideas/suggestions for this problem and possible options for the dash bubbling would be much appreciated! :D

If it's in good cosmetic condition and runs well, $6k sounds like a great deal.
Spray belts with water, close the hood and wait for 3-4k rpms. No noise? Buy new belts. Get Gatorbacks.

Cosmetic condition is perfect and overall runs well! Can't hear anything when car is stopped at all, seems to be only happening while car is running in 20-40mph range which is really weird and doesn't happen every time. Basically just get the belts replaced and then see?
