Anybody have one of those "pet seat cover/protectors" for the back seat? I want to get one but i see prices range from about $30 up to $300. I haven't decided if i want one the covers the bench and back of the rear seat or just the bench. Any help would be great. :top:

Get the one that covers the back and seat.. Also consider getting one that doesn't have the seatbelt holes.. This will offer max protection from hair and dander getting in between your seats or in the seatbelt wells..

My pups ride back of the bus only with a pet cage. I like the seat slings a lot for sedans.
What kind of dog and what weight?
Big ups to Pork and Beans.. That's THE only way to let the pup-pup ride. Anything else is un-safe.
And NOBODY wants to deal with me if a dog gets hurt as a result of ignorance or stupidity.
We're talking scortched earth people.

But I'm calm.

Hes a 95lb black lab. He always rides really well. Stays calm and just puts his head out the window like he's the boss.

I think he's referring to how the dog is secured..mine rides in the back seat with his work harness attached to the backseat anchors..this way he's "buckled "in for impacts..

Ian, can you take a picture next time of your dog in your backseat with your phone just so we can get an idea?

Forgot to post this, but here are some pics of the set-up... He basically has his work harness; has 3 buckles for attachments. I attach the top buckle by his handle to a two pronged leash and anchor it to the cargo latches on the back of the seat.. This way he has freedom of movement and his feet wont get tangled.. The leash is long enough for him to lay down, but will prevent him from flying through the windows or windshield (and take my head off in the process)... Used the harness instead of the collar so he won't break his neck in case of a sudden stop/impact..

Looks terrific! How are you not worried about scratches or possible tears in the leather? My dogs don't scratch with their feet but I've gotten some deep scratches in my previous car from them just walking on the leather even after you trim their nails because then the edges of them are sharp too.

He's an easy rider.. Just lays down when in the car.. Unless he thinks I'm threatened.. One guy was looking in while car was parked and he almost went through the window lol.
