Hi All, it's been quite some time i have posted on the this forum since after i sold the FX and moved back to South Africa.
Well the Infiniti brand was introduced to South Africa in 2013 but the brand is still fresh and not many knows about it.
First of all, this car i am posting now is not mine, but would like to share to this community something different being that
1- this is a RHD
2- this is the V6 diesel V9X engine

this vehicle was bought by my dad for my mum, hopefully she won't mind the road noise and the harshness from the 21" wheels though,

anyways, to the pics and specs

2015 QX70d S Premium Black edition
its basically a fully loaded with factory options, no accessories included
Black edition includes:
dark chrome grille, air vents, sills, smoked headlamps, black wheels, mirrors, door inserts and roof rails with purple stitching

Thats very nice & interesting. Never seen that before. & they relocated the battery :good:

Welcome back. Indeed interesting. Keep us updated on how the diesel engine work out.

Good looking QX, looking at the back of the QX I actually never even have looked at the rear of my FX35.

anyone else notice that 3rdd F1 style rear fog light in the bottom middle of the bumper?

Each European FX/QX has that rear fog light, EU regulation :) Nice in Black on Black ! Be carefull with the DPF and 7th injector issues... Been doing a lot of warranties on that... But this engine works really well on that body :)

forgot to mention this was a demo vehicle with 5000km on clock
in order for us to register, the traffic department requires to see the engine number on the engine block, apparently the engine number for this engine is hidden under a crap load of pipes/hoses. so the dealer had to have those removed. the car was autocarrier'd to us, now comes the frustrating part, the dealer hadn't put back one hose clamp, our local workshop had to remove all those pipes and hoses again to get to where they messed up. in hoping that the engine did not overheat during the transportation/driving vehicle up and down. the coolant/water literally gushed out when we poured into the reservoir. have been carefully testing and making sure the water level is consistent and the engine light don't come up again. it's actually so far so good.

now the one thing that i believe is the most annoying is that i don't get to hear the signature infiniti exhaust sound lol

Hm... where did Infiniti hide the spare tire? I see a jack in the back area of the vehicle but no spare tire.

tire are Dunlop SP 01, not run flats and no spare tire.
they did however include a Continental mobility repair kit. basically a sealant that attaches to the 12v tire pump and seals the puncture.
in the trunk pic above, you can see on the right there is a bottle, that's the sealant and a small box, thats the tire pump.
i really hoped they could've provided a spare or run flats. that repair kit is probably more hassle i think than changing a spare wheel
would you rather have the repair kit or spare?

beautiful car. And I would also rather have a spare than a repair kit, although having both would be nice.

Interesting. Nice looking car!

Thoug its unfortunate how infiniti bandwagon of calling all cars the same thing but they can have anything from a diesel to a V6 to a V8, and still slap the S on...
