Rattles and Noises in the Cabin...?

Well, this question goes out for the FX35 owners too. Does your center console have noises every time it hits a bump on the road? It sounds like the plastic plate is shifting.

As well, there is something metallic rattling from the back (towards the trunk) and something else vibrating. I think it is the headrests but I can't duplicate it.

Argh!

Anything loose in spare tire area?
Loose stuff in center console storage area?
E Brake adjustment if loose will make noise like a rattle over bumps.

nope. my FX50S makes no noises. the G on the otherhad has some ralltees caused by my after market exhaust.

Fark. Yeah, my center console has rattles every so often...Not sure if the stupidly cold weather has anything to do with it.

And from the back, it definitely sounds like something is rubbing on the seats but I can't identify the source...I'll have to rip apart the trunk now to find the source of the rattle. Grr.

No noises in the dash or the back in my FX.
It only takes a couple minutes to check the trunk, and I can't see how it could be your rear head rests. I removed my rear headrests anyways, since they block your vision and I don't use them anyways.
As to noises in the dash, pretty hard to check them, if mine was noisy I would have the Dealer check that out.

doubt it but just putting it out there...

...it might be your moon roof. Mine had a light rattle 1 month into ownership and a couple months later it was hecka annoying. Always thought it was coming from the back until my sis discovered it was the moonroof. (open and closed positions)

Yeah, confirmed it on the ride home. Every so often, there would be, what I would describe as a cracking plastic sound coming from the somewhere in the front. If I press down on the plastic piece around the buttons below the Navigation screen, I can replicate that sound.

Kinda annoying me...I'll be taking it to the dealership on Wednesday to have it looked at.

If there is any metal rattle, it must be coming from the spare tire area. One of the parts must be loose. I'll take a look...Thanks for the tip!

Quick update:
The wrench in the back was not in its place...which contributed to some noise. There was some squeaking coming from the leather. A bit of conditioner provided by the dealership has helped out tons.

As for the center console, the noise caused by the plastic is warranty. They are replacing the piece...it should arrive in a couple of weeks.

Anyhow, thanks everyone for the help!

lol, be4 taking the hole dam thing apart, first thing to check is if it's plugged in. Glad it was a simple one.
